Jan 31, 2010 - Into The Pride - Tonight! : - 0 comments

Photobucket

Tonight I'm going to watch a tv program that's called "Into The Pride" featuring Dave Salmoni. I really enjoy watching that program since Dave is on a mission on traveling to Africa, visiting real untamed lions in Erindi reserve. These lions have some agressions problems and has attacked people before and where comes Dave's in? you'll ask. Well, his mission is to unlearn these lions agressions to people, because if they don't. They will not get a second chance to survive. Many of the lions had to give up their lives because of their agression and attacking tourists on visit.

Photobucket

Enable to save these lions that are left, he has to make a special bound with these lions. He's making progress but there's still some empty spots he need to fix. His biggest problem is queen Cleo. Whenever he's near, queen Cleo chase him away and threathing to charge him if he don't stay out of her area. She's such a grumpy old lioness as you can tell when getting to know these lions.

Dave risk with all his life jsut to save theirs, a very interesting program in my opinion. Do you think he'll succes?

Photobucket

The program airs on Sundays at 9.00PM on Animal Planet here in Sweden. I don't exactly know if they air these show on where you live, if live in another country than sweden.

- The Colorful Luxeed U5 Dynamic Pixel LED Keyboard : - 1 comments

Photobucket

Well, I've always knew that keyboards came in different looks and styles. But this is betterPhotobucket The colorful keyboards are from LED and comes with an extra ordinary, not only for it's beauty.

With the new Luxeed U5 Dynamic Pixel LED Keyboard there's a various functions that are capable to light one keyboar at a time by choosing a color you want, wait...there's more. This keyboards can do tricks like creating a rainbow across the keyboard or it can even make that specifik key light as it is pressed.

Photobucket

You can adjust, customize the color pattern and the dimness, brightness of the present glowing skin of the keyboard by a help of those four "Preset Buttons" above the narrow keys. It doesn't require any software since all the controls of setting the key colormodes and storing key presets is already built in the keyboard's hardware.

Photobucket

You can either between select the black or the white luxeed gadget. The only difference is that the white one has a more semi-transparent look and brightly lit keys while the black one has a stylish look where only the letters are glowing.

Photobucket

If you've already fallen for these keyboards like I did Photobucket then you can buy them for $139.99-149.99.

Aren't they so nice? I would definitely buy one if I could ever afford with it someday.

- The first rotating buildings in the WORLD! : - 0 comments

Have you ever seen buildings that rotates in motion? You think it sounds impossible or crazy? Well, at least not to David Fisher, the creator of the worl'ds first building in motion - The Revolutionary Dynamic Tower. It adjust itself to the sun, wind, weather and views by rotating each floor seperately. Also, these buildings would never appear the same way.

Photobucket

Well, watch these pictures and video further down! ;)
Photobucket

"It is amazing but you will have the choice of waking up to sunrise in your bedroom and enjoying sunsets over the ocean at dinner.

In addition to being such an incredible engineering miracle it will produce energy for itself and even for other buildings because it will have wind turbines fitted between each rotating floor. So an 80-story building will have up to 79 wind turbines, making it a true green power plant"... [text]

Photobucket
There are currently two projects on the running of this Dynamic Architecture in the world. - Dubai & Moscow.
DUBAI PROJECT

Photobucket

"The Dynamic Tower in Dubai will be 1,380 feet (420 meters) tall, 80 floors, apartments will range in size from 1,330 square feet (124 square meters), to Villas of 12,900 square feet (1,200 square meters) complete with a parking space inside the apartment. It will consist of offices, a luxury hotel, residential apartments, and the top 10 floors will be for luxury villas located in a prime location in Dubai.

The Dynamic Tower in Dubai will be the first skyscraper to be entirely constructed in a factory from prefabricated parts. So instead of some 2000 workers, only 680 will be sufficient. Construction is scheduled to be completed by 2010"...[text]

MOSCOW PROJECT

Photobucket
This tower will be 1312 ft (400 meters) tall.

See these buildings in motion below:

Chrissy's Opinion: "Well, I think it would be cool and scarying at the same time living in a rotating buildings. Changing point of view every time you wake up. I would try living in one of these for a week, but not more than that. I would be scared and not feeling safe since I fear for heights!"

Jan 29, 2010 - An amazing story about compassion & impossible friendship! : - 0 comments

Well, first of all I must say that i love animals, from house pets to wild animals. I've always wanted to visit Kenya in africa to see some real wild animals. No doubts about me being a big animal lovers and I'm kind of fascinated by the big cats, hehe. They're so beautiful, all of them.

Anyway to what I really wanted to post about. It's amazing how much we know about our animals on our planet but still how little we actually know about them. They can suprise us in any way we thought wasn't possible. All the wild animals in africa live side by side in harmony, something we humans never could do with eachother.

Now here's an amazing story that can suprise usPhotobucket
Photobucket

This young impala has lost it's herds and were found by a few cheetahs...

Photobucket

And as far what we know about these cats it's that they're predators like their cousins - The leopards, and they hunt preys like for example the lost impala...

Photobucket

Cheetahs are like other wild big cats, they are instinctive killers and would kill the little lost impala directly if they felt doing it. But then there comes an amazing story to it, we think they just hunt for preys because it's their instincts to do so?, that's what we were thought to believed in.

But that doesn't mean that they can feel compassion for other animals. Instead of ripping the impala to death they tried helping the young impala find its relatives. Sweet story isn't it? Photobucket

Photobucket
As you can see, they didn't feed on the little cute impala. See how amazing the picture is between the cheetah and the lost impalaPhotobucket . So hearttouching!

Here's another case about a young leopard who saved a baby baboon from getting eaten by hyenas.

The name of the leopard is named Legadema as the film crew named her it, which means "Light From The Sky". As we see in the video above, we think that it's going to rip the baby baboon apart, right? But it prooved us wrong. Instead Legadema didn't know how to react as she saw the baby baboon and also because she wasn't a fullgrown leopard yet, she had a playful side and somehow were lost in her feelings in that very moment.

She did kinda feel a little mother-like to that baby baboon and since that baboon did thought that Legadema was its mother, it started follow her everywhere and Legadema tried to teach the baby baboon to climb on tree.

Photobucket

Isn't it heartouching to see a completely another side of wild animals that we thought we knew enough about them? Guess, this shows how little we actually know about our animals on planet. This documentary about Legadema is a great story to follow and I saw it once on channel Nat Geo Wild.

Photobucket

I was also heard that a similar documetary that aired on animal planet about a month ago that a friendship between a old lion and a helpess antelope. The old lion was hungry but did followed the newly born antelope for more than one week to protect it from getting eaten by other predators until it finds its herd, awww. The old lion was hungry and never ate for days but also never tried to eat the helpless little creature. That's what I call a truly deep friendship Photobucket between two different species that has nothing in common at all.

But that's by far what we can know about our animals, but they will keep coming laying a new mystery ahead of us...

Jan 28, 2010 - Get The Idea - Wanna know more about Cancer, smoke more! : - 0 comments

Rose Divider

This whole idea with the smoking-ads were brilliant. You don't need to think twice just to get the whole idea of what the message from these ads are trying to say.

Photobucket

I thought this idea was brilliant because what more can we do to stop smokers from smoking ciggs than cancer does. After all, when people who smoke eventually get cancer it makes them realize Photobucket why they ever started smoking. We can't do that job but cancer can help them - in a not so good way from smoking ever again. I do not smoke myself but I see people all around me that smokes daily, most of them are so young.

Sometimes I wonder how much ciggs do they smoke each day? It's not good for their health and it's dangerous and these people knows it too but still they do smoke.
